Speed and Jam Wheels

Quad Speed and Jamskating wheels are pretty similar and you can use most of the wheels in this section for either purpose, so we're batching them together. It's not a perfect system, but there aren't any real firm rules and it seems like the simplest way to organize this section of the site.

Durometer:  the durometer of a wheel is a measure of it's hardness.  Most wheels are measured on the "A" scale (i.e.  98A or 95A) but occasionally you see one on a different scale.  The higher the number, the harder the wheel, as long as they're both on the same scale.

Size: measured in millimeters (mm), most of these are going to be 62mm (or close).

Always skate smart. Use appropriate protective gear. If you're not an experienced skater then learn to skate indoors at a roller skating rink. It's a flat and smooth surface with no traffic to deal with. Take lessons.
