We offer discounts on any of the Plymold brand seats. They offer hundreds of different options, and we can help you with any of them. But for skating rink use, the Contour style benches are far and away the most popular style. They’re relatively inexpensive, durable, and easy to clean.
Size – These are available in a wide variety of sizes. We’ve found that 47″ is the most popular. That is big enough for two people on each side, but small enough to move around if you need to.
Frame Style – Choose from island or wall mount style. The wall mounts are a little cheaper, but need to go up against a wall.
Table Edging – The table tops come in several different styles. Laminate Edges are the least expensive. Dur-A-Edge is more durable, and probably the most popular for skating rink use. This is a good choice, especially when you consider most of your customers are younger children on roller skates. They tend to bump into things, and they’re not always as careful as you would like. The extra money for the Dur-A-Edge is usually worth it.
Colors – There are literally hundreds of colors to choose from. They can do Wilsonart or Formica colors, plus hundreds of others. The backs of the benches can also be laminated, but that is an extra fee.
Delivery – Because of the huge number of options available, we don’t stock these. They’re ordered from the factory according to your specifications. Most orders ship within three weeks. They’re shipped straight to your rink, some assembly required.
