Finger Fidget Fingers – Part Two updates, new versions

Finger Spinners are a new novelty item for us.  Our first batch sold out immediately.  We did an email blast Wednesday at 4:30PM and they were gone by Thursday at 10AM.  We apologize for that; obviously we really underestimated the demand.

 

We’ve got a second batch coming.  HOPEFULLY these will be here ABOUT April 27.  We’re not promising anything, strange things happen with customs and shipping, but that is our hope.

 

If you’re interested, we would encourage you to place a pre-order now.  Get on the list early, so if they do sell out, you’ll be covered.  When you do this, we’ll ship them out as soon as they arrive.

 

There are going to be three types in this second shipment.

 

The basic version.

The glow in the dark version.

The light up version.

Finger Spinners are a new novelty item for us.  They’re hot right now and we’ve got some in stock as of today.  More are coming.

 

We’re not sure yet how long this will be a hot item.  The first batch comes in assorted colors.  We expect to get some that light up soon, more details on those as they arrive.  But, for now, we’ve got the basic model, in stock, assorted colors, and ready to ship.

Snack Bar Seating

We offer discounts on any of the Plymold brand seats. They offer hundreds of different options, and we can help you with any of them. But for skating rink use, the Contour style benches are far and away the most popular style. They’re relatively inexpensive, durable, and easy to clean.

Carpet

Skating rink carpet needs to be extremely durable to stand up to the wear and tear of the skaters. Many rinks find that Carpetile is the perfect fit. This carpet comes in one-yard squares. This makes it easy to install and also easy to repair. If you have a damaged square, you just replace the one bad square. Because all skating rinks are going to have high traffic areas that wear out quicker than the low traffic areas, the ability to replace the worn areas becomes very valuable.

Skate Update – Monza, Latte, Sisu new products in stock now from Vanilla, Sure-Grip, and more

The Sure-Grip Monza is a new high end quad speed wheel with an aluminum hub.  It comes in purple (93A hardness), grey (95A), red (95A), or teal (98A) versions.  These are in stock now.

Several new versions of the Vanilla Junior are also in stock now.  They have a Mint, a Royalty (a dark burgundy), and a brand new Latte (coffee colored).  The Junior always seems to have a new color scheme coming out, and it seems like the new colors are always big hits.

Sisu mouthguards are perfect for roller derby skaters.  They’re very thin, which makes it easier to talk and breathe while wearing them.  We’ve recently added several new colors, so here is an updated list:

Sisu 1.6 – the most popular version -black, electric blue, forest green, orange, purple, red, royal blue, spring green, white, yellow

Sisu 2.4 – a thicker version – black, electric blue, pink, purple, red, white

Sisu Junior – for smaller mouths – black, electric blue, forest green, orange, purple, red, royal blue, spring green, white, yellow

 

Our new catalogs are ready and they look great.  This year we have two different versions.  The “standard” catalog is similar to what we have done in recent years.  We also added a “mini” catalog this year, a much smaller format that shows off some of the highlights and proven winners.  Ask for some with your next order.

New Skates In Stock From Vanilla!

Vanilla skates were started in 2005 and became a roller skating sensation soon after. This brand of skates cover jam roller skaters to derby roller skaters, speed inline roller skaters to recreational fun time roller skaters. There’s a skate for all types of roller skaters.  

The Latte is a brand new color scheme for their Vanille Junior. We’ve also got the Loco Verde Vanilla skate. This roller skate is their new higher end inline speed skate.

There are a lot of new products that have just arrived or that are coming soon.  Here is a recap.

Powell-Bones is adding a purple color to their Team wheels.  These just arrived and they look great.  The purple is a fairly dark shade.

Sure-Grip is adding a new higher end quad speed wheel called the Monza.  This one will be several weeks out, but we wanted to let you know about them ahead of time.  They’ll come in purple, red, grey, or teal.  This will be comparable to their Power Plus or Interceptor wheels.

Tour Hockey has several new inline hockey skates.  Each of these are available now.

66TA Code 7 – Tour Force indoor/outdoor wheels, Bevo Silver 5 bearings.  The boot has Tuff Skin exterior, memory foam, and thermolayer construction.  Sizes 5-13.

64TA Code 5 – Many of the same features as the 66TA skate, but with Tour Flow indoor/outdoor wheels.  Sizes 5-13.

88TA Code 3 – Labeda Gripper wheels, Bevo Gold 9 bearings.  The boot has ARC Tongue, Accu-Aire Ventilation System, and custom surlan structural support.  Sizes 5-13, with half sizes from 7 ½ to 10 ½.

Vanilla has a new color scheme for their always popular Junior skate.  The new one is called The Latte and it is khaki with blue.  They’re in stock now.

Vanilla also has a new higher end inline speed skate called the Loco Verde.  These are in stock now.

Coming late February, Powell-Bones will add a purple color to their Team wheels.

This Spring, Sure-Grip is adding a new higher end quad speed wheel called the Monza. Although we still have some time before these babies come out, we wanted to let you know about them ahead of time so you can watch for promotions and release dates – you’re welcome.
